Carousel of Happiness

The Carousel of Happiness, operating year-round, is Nederland's magical menagerie with 56 whimsical, hand-carved animals on a restored 1910 Looff carousel, turning to a 1913 Wurlitzer band organ. A kids puppet theater and play area is also available upstairs.

Children's Diabetes Foundation

The Children’s Diabetes Foundation was established by Barbara and Marvin Davis in 1977 in Denver as a non-profit organization dedicated solely to the support of research in diabetes and to provide the best possible clinical and educational programs for people with the disease. The Foundation’s mission is to raise funds to support the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes, where thousands of patients of all ages from all over the world receive the finest diabetes care available. Since 1978, the Children’s Diabetes Foundation has contributed $100 million dollars to the Barbara Davis Center.

Staenberg - Loup Jewish Community Center

For nearly 100 years, the JCC Denver’s mission has been to build a community, rooted in Jewish values, where everyone feels like they belong. Our center was founded in 1922 as a place of refuge for the Jewish people of Denver, where they could safely gather under one roof to celebrate the cultural aspect of being Jewish–the ish. Keystone Science School

Keystone Science School hosts a wide variety of programs including overnight, adventure, and day camps which all combine Science, Adventure, & FUN! Our flagship program is our traditional overnight camp known as Discovery Camp. Every Discovery Camp session includes a backpacking overnight, challenge hike, team-building activities, and traditional songs by the campfire.

The Longmont Museum

The Longmont Museum is a center for culture in Northern Colorado. The Museum features a permanent history exhibition and changing shows such as hands-on exhibitions for families, art exhibitions and more. The Museum is also home to the 250-seat Stewart Auditorium, which hosts concerts, theater, films and lectures. Other programming at the Museum includes adult art classes, summer camp and school break camp for kids, outdoor summer concerts, and history programs.

Young Americans Center for Financial Education is a nonprofit organization committed to developing the financial literacy of young people, up to age 22, through real life experiences and hands-on programs. The Center fulfills its mission by offering programs like Young AmeriTowne, International Towne, YouthBiz, Money Matters classes, summer camps and more. In addition, Young Americans Center houses the only real bank in the world for young people, Young Americans Bank, which shares the same educational mission of teaching children to be financially responsible.

Bird Conservancy of the Rockies

If your kids enjoy learning, playing hard and spending time in the great outdoors, then our Bird Camps are for them! Bird Conservancy of the Rockies offers multiple summer camp experiences for kids ages 4-18. All camps are about getting kids outside to have fun and explore nature while making friends, developing leadership skills and gaining insights into their relationships with themselves, others and the world around them. Camp content and activities are designed in a progression to introduce young children to the outdoors and build their skills over time.
