In 2002, the founders of St. Elizabeth’s K-8 Episcopal School recognized the ongoing lack of opportunity faced by many of the young people growing up in our country’s marginalized communities. Their struggles were perpetuated by a lack of access to affordable high-quality education. The founders also believed that the solution to this educational disparity would be found within socio-economically diverse, inclusive, and collaborative classrooms, and so they built them from the ground up.
