Center for the Arts Evergreen

Give your young artists an immersive and hands-on experience with Summer Art Camps at Center for the Arts Evergreen (CAE), just 3 minutes off I70 at Evergreen Parkway. CAE offers half-day camps, lunch studios, and technique workshops for kids aged 5-17, running June 3 through August 9. Each session explores different media, from clay sculpting and drawing techniques, to pop art and mural painting, to art of different cultures and art of the masters. Several of our experiences also incorporate outdoor components, including hikes, plein air painting, and opportunities for photography and eco-art projects. Let your kids explore their creative side with imaginative and inspiring camps at CAE this summer!

What started as a dream by local art enthusiasts in 1974 has become a lasting community resource. Center for the Arts Evergreen (CAE) provides quality arts education, exhibitions, and events. Our main gallery showcases local and nationally-acclaimed artists in both curated and juried exhibitions. We offer myriad educational opportunities for adults and children in the visual arts, writing, and art history, as well as more recreational craft-based workshops and social evenings. CAE also hosts indoor and outdoor concert series' as well as several annual community art festivals. In spring of 2023, CAE will break ground on Phase II of this renovation, adding another 6,000 square feet for both artistic pursuits and community engagement. Check out our calendar for monthly cultural events, concerts, festivals, workshops, kids classes and camps, and much more.
