Young Americans Center for Financial Education is a nonprofit organization committed to developing the financial literacy of young people, up to age 22, through real life experiences and hands-on programs. The Center fulfills its mission by offering programs like Young AmeriTowne, International Towne, YouthBiz, Money Matters classes, summer camps and more. In addition, Young Americans Center houses the only real bank in the world for young people, Young Americans Bank, which shares the same educational mission of teaching children to be financially responsible.

Summer Camps

BUILD A BUSINESS, RULE THE WORLD, BE MONEY SMART!

Summer camps are a great way for young people to experience FUNancial education through our award-winning programs!  Young Americans Center for Financial Education offers 9 different camp options for youth who have completed 2nd-8th grade.

 
 
 
Mini Camps
 
Young Americans Center for Financial Education offers Mini-Camps that allow youth to experience hands-on education in financial literacy. 
 
 

Money Matters Classes

JOIN US ON SATURDAYS FOR A FREE, UNIQUE LEARNING EXPERIENCE!

Money Matters Classes are designed especially for youth, ages 4-19, and their parents.  Games and activities teach young people about the importance of money and banking — and how parents can reinforce those lessons at home.

Class participants earn a $10 savings certificate for attending.  Certificates can only be deposited into a Young Americans Bank account.  Accounts may be opened immediately following class.

Scout Classes

Young Americans Center for Financial Education has been teaching kids about money for more than 30 years!  We’re excited to partner with Girl Scouts Colorado and Boy Scouts of America to offer badge classes and classes that fulfill merit badge requirements.

Young Americans Center offers evening and weekend classes such as free Money Matters personal finance classes, YouthBiz entrepreneurship classes, and Girl Scout/Boy Scout badge classes.
