Spend the week taking an in-depth look at F/stops, shutter speed, ISO, and other digital camera functions and how to use them to your advantage. You will also learn composition, elements of design, lighting, and rule of thirds; so you can spend more time making great images and less time fixing them. But, that is not at all, try some experimental techniques along your digital photography journey.

Explore basic robotics and programming using LEGO's amazing Construction Kits. Learn basic STEM concepts and apply that knowledge to your creativity as you build with motors, gears, pulleys, and sensors. In Musical Theatre Mix-Up, kids will create a totally original show by drawing Broadway songs from a hat! We’ll learn vocals, choreography, build characters, and tie them all together into a fun, fast-paced performance. Math Games Mania will get you wild about math! Create art using tangent lines, solve a mystery using math, and strengthen your skills with interactive games. Activities are designed to help you master key mathematical concepts - so you can learn while having fun! Review a wide range of math concepts like order of operations, geometry, and data collection. You and your classmates will graph your moves while playing Battleship and make cool math crafts and games to take home with you.

Get ready to mount your horse and go for a ride!! In this fabulous week of camp, we'll make our very own Hobby Horse -- (parents, if you're not familiar, these were the stick horses of our childhood and have made a major resurgence, understandably so! ;) -- that you'll learn to ride, and even take outside onto a course!

Python is an easy-to-use, but powerful scripting language used by graphic artists and engineers for creating games and websites. Learn basic commands and functions then continue on with your project after the class ends using Python's advanced features. Campers will take their room decor to the next level, making a custom jumbo friendship bracelet garland, with the word of their choice at the center.

Using the powerful Unreal Engine and taught by Utah Games graduates, you will develop the skills needed to become a level designer and gameplay programmer. The Aurora Fox Arts Center is recognized as an award-winning professional theatre company operated by the City of Aurora’s Library & Cultural Services Division. This camp is designed to help students learn the FUNdamentals of chess including basic piece movement, checkmating patterns, and other foundational principles of the game in a dynamic and engaging environment. Students can expect to spend the first part of camp becoming proficient in piece movement and other foundational game principles. At Camp Manitowa our summer camp near St. Louis in Southern Illinois strive to provide campers an environment that fosters all the skills parents want their kids to develop early on in life.
