INSTRUCTOR: Estelle Morgan
Description: Enter the magical world of light and shadow! This innovative course encourages students to explore the dynamic interaction between light, space, and art. Through hands-on projects, children will learn how to manipulate light and shadow to create stunning, interactive art pieces. The focus is on creativity, structure, and experimentation, helping young artists understand the principles of design and physics in a fun, accessible way. These illuminations will inspire a fresh perspective, helping students see art—and the world around them— in a whole new light.
This camp is primarily INDOORS but students will go outdoors weather permitting. Students should arrive to camp prepared to spend the morning outdoors with appropriate layers for the unpredictable weather, sunscreen applied, sun hat, sunglasses, water bottle and snacks. Please bring a lunch if you plan to register for lunch care.
