Our weekly outdoor nature camps offer a unique opportunity for kids and teens! We have something for everyone, with Weekly Camp Themes for ages 5-6 or ages 7-12, and a Junior Counselor Program for ages 13-17. A session for campers runs for one week from 9am-3pm Monday to Friday. Junior Counselor sessions run for two weeks from 8:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday. This entirely outdoor camp has plenty of mud, bugs, creek time, sunshine, and adventure!

The Urban Farm
Story Book Farm is a magical place for young children to explore and learn about farm animals and plants. Each day, campers experience a different part of the farm, like the cheerful poultry area or the calm cows, goats, sheep, and horses. They also discover the important role of pollinators and learn hands-on about composting and gardening. The farm's educators make learning fun by incorporating music, art, STEM projects, and animal interactions into each day's activities. Each week of camp includes a TUF Camp t-shirt.

Public chalk art has become very popular. This class will teach the use of chalk and pastels in public places. On the streets, sidewalks and walls. We will look at the history of "chalk painting" from the renaissance to graffiti to 3-D murals. Each day the students will doing a chalk mural of some sort. Be prepared to do some large scale pieces! Game Design: Multiplayer Madness (Age 12-14)

Whether it's Overcooked or New Super Mario Bros, playing with friends is always more fun! This course will cover the many layers of co-op game design, from enemy interactions to the effects of friendly fire. Using the Unreal Engine, you will create multiple controller inputs and build levels that require coordinated problem solving. Multiplayer video games create more challenges for the players, but it also doubles the fun. Co-sponsored with Utah Division of Games.

On the Ball: Sports Marketing (Age 12-17)

Do you love sports and dream of a career in the biz? Join us for a week-long camp learning all about sports communications. We will travel onto the main campus to discover the University of Utah's top-notch Division I sports teams and facilities, all while learning opportunities for students interested in sports careers. Participants will also learn how to cover athletic teams and delve into the relationship between reporters, athletes, coaches, and beyond.
Athena Project: Girls Create Summer Camps 2025

Now in its 10th year, our unparalleled Girls Create summer camp program ignites the passions and talents of 6th to 10th grade girls and nonbinary youth in fashion design, stand-up comedy, playwriting and creativity through art. Held in Denver’s Westwood neighborhood, professionals teach, guest artists share their expertise, and mentors from the community guide and encourage – unleashing girls and nonbinary youth to lead and effect change in themselves and others through creative learning.
Stop Motion Animation (Age 8-10)

Bring your imagination to life in this introduction to animation class. Write, produce, and direct a short stop-motion film using your own images, text, shapes, and set design. Learn how to record audio sound effects and import music to make your creations truly unique! The end product will be a short film that will wow friends and family. No prior experience necessary. The Urban Farm
Each day, campers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a wide range of engaging activities that will deepen their understanding of animal care, food sources, and the inner workings of farms. Through captivating storybooks, interactive musical lessons, stimulating STEM activities, memorable animal interactions, and delightful games, campers will embark on a journey of knowledge and discovery. By offering a diverse range of experiences, we aim to foster a love for nature and an appreciation for the vital role that farms play in sustaining our communities. Hip-Hop Breakdancing Basics (Age 6-9)

Get ready to pop, lock, and groove at this high-energy dance camp! Our Hip Hop Breakdance class is all about fun, creativity, and confidence. Campers will explore the exciting world of breakdancing, learning cool moves and practicing their freestyle skills. They'll have a blast participating in friendly dance-offs, building friendships, and discovering the joy of expressing themselves through dance. The week ends with a thrilling performance to show off their moves! Co-sponsored with YouDance.

The Rapids Youth Soccer Summer Half Day Camps are opportunities for players of all levels (recreational and competitive) to train in a focused environment to improve their skills in all game areas. The training camps will focus on ball mastery, 1v1 situations, and attacking and defending tactics to improve each player’s knowledge of the game.
ASLD Summer Camp- Art Buffet (Ages 6-7)

Campers will explore various mediums including watercolor, paint, pastels, printmaking, and multi-media collage. This is a great class for letting kids test various materials and experiment! PAA - Performing Arts Academy
Campers choose from a wide variety of performing arts topics to learn new skills or improve their abilities in acting, dance, and voice! These exciting camps are 1-week half-day camps at our home location - 5690 County Line Place. With small class sizes campers receive quality instruction from current industry professionals! Each camp ends with a Shareformance for friends and family on Fridays!
Create Your Plate: Cooking Mindful Meals (Age 11-13)

Our hearts beet for healthy foods! From breakfast to dinner, the foods we choose make a difference. With the notion, food is fuel this camp focuses on whole foods and starting from scratch. Whether it is homemade pizza dough or yogurt, you are sure to cook up delicious and nutritious meals. At the end of the week, you will put your new skills to the test in a friendly competition where you will whip up a tasty meal with a mystery ingredient. Win or lose - we are rooting for you!

Each day, campers will focus on a particular area of the Farm, learning how to care for animals, plant seeds, and be stewards of the land. Animal interactions including engaging and working with sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, donkey and miniature horses. Campers will get their hands in the dirty while gardening in soil and then travel to the STEM Station to do hand on experiments and learn all about the science and technology that keep farms running. Campers will stay active and learn teamwork while participating in games and challenges that help reinforce each days lessons. Each week of camp includes a TUF Camp t-shirt.
Colorful Creations: Intro to Glass Fusion (Age 10-14)

This hands-on camp introduces kids to the vibrant world of glass art. Campers will explore the magic of glass fusion, creating unique, colorful projects throughout the week. From stringer plates to fabulous night lights, they'll develop artistic skills and fall in love with the process of transforming glass into art.

The Universe for Future Scientists (Age 14-17)

Come explore the universe and become an Astronomer for a week! Go deep learning about galaxies, stars, dark matter, black holes and more! This camp will help shed some light on the so-called darkness of the universe and delve into the physics of these objects. You'll attend personal lectures from U of U astronomers and demos to help demonstrate the physical properties of objects we can only see through a telescope.

Outside the Lines: An Intro to Relief Printmaking (Age 12-17)

This camp combines fun and sustainable printmaking experimentation with a dose of art history, connecting students to the rich historical and contemporary roots of printmaking.

Comic Book Art (Age 12-14)

Superheros. Evil villains. Doomsday machines. The fate of the universe rests in your hands and how you decide to draw it. This exciting course helps you develop your ability to bring to life comic or cartoon figures as you create and illustrate a graphic story. We'll talk about visual character development as well as illustration techniques and storyboarding. Please come to the first class with a concept in mind. You may work in the medium of your choice.
Camp Manitowa 2025
Camp Manitowa
At Camp Manitowa our summer camp near St. Louis in Southern Illinois strive to provide campers an environment that fosters all the skills parents want their kids to develop early on in life. Our Rend Lake camp is a non-religions program that serves campers 2nd to 9th-grade. Kids gain independence, build self-esteem, and learn about cooperation and problem-solving, all while making new, lifelong friends. We offer a small community for campers so that they feel like they are part of the Manitowa family. By offering structured free choice activities, we encourage kids to feel a sense of belonging and control over their experience, which leaves them feeling empowered and able to learn and grow. View a typical day at Camp Manitowa and a map of the grounds. With so many water, art, sports, and nature activity options, campers will want to return to Manitowa for years to come. We serve campers from St. Louis, Indianapolis, Chicago, Kansas City, Louisville, Nashville, Knoxville, Denver, and the many communities of Southern and Central Illinois.
ASLD Summer Camp- Color in Portaiture (Ages 11-13)
Art Students League of Denver
Color in Portraiture challenges students to use color intentionally by exploring color theory and the use of color palettes. We will learn about painting skin, and specifically how to use color to build dimension in flesh tones. Students can determine how colors interact with each other to create moods, harmony and balance within art. All supplies are included in the materials fee and will be provided at ASLD.
