Learn to paint with wax. We'll use all the encaustic tools: pancake griddles, heat gun and wax pigments to explore the many ways to make beeswax artful. Encaustic is very forgiving, making it accessible to artists of all levels. All supplies are included in the materials fee and will be provided at ASLD. Instructed by Michele Messenger.

Witness the power of the paddle! Pickleball is a fun, fast-paced game that's easy to learn for all. Come hone in your skills including scoring and game structure, sportsmanship, stroke production and drills. Intermediate students should have basic knowledge of the game and have previous played. Club Pickleball USA will provide balls, paddles if needed, snacks and a whole lot of fun! The final day will feature a tournament format to showcase your new love of Pickleball! |

Beep boop bop! This camp week is all about robots! Using a variety of different materials we will be making robots each day, and of course having fun playing with them too. Campers will create both robot sculptures, as well as kinetic robots including Scribble Bots and Wind Up Bots. We'll take a break from building and paint a canvas inspired by our new robots as the subject, and have plenty of time for open ended art making and exploration this week. ![]() |
