INSTRUCTOR: Estelle Morgan
Description: Unleash your creativity and make art from scratch! In this course, students will explore the endless possibilities of paper as a medium for self-expression, focusing on the importance of reusing and recycling materials. Young artists will discover how everyday items can be transformed into unique works of art, fostering creativity while promoting eco-conscious practices. This course encourages experimentation, pattern recognition, and problem-solving, all while helping children develop fine motor skills. The goal is to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces that are as creative as they are environmentally friendly, all while nurturing the idea that art can be sustainable!
This camp is primarily INDOORS but students will go outdoors weather permitting. Students should arrive to camp prepared to spend the morning outdoors with appropriate layers for the unpredictable weather, sunscreen applied, sun hat, sunglasses, water bottle and snacks. Please bring a lunch if you plan to register for lunch care.
– 1 hour supervised lunch studio is available for $25 per week to extend your camp experience.
– All supplies are included unless otherwise noted.
