Our Farmhands Education Programs, including summer camps, workshops, field trips, and special events, provide the opportunity to learn about the art and science of growing food and the importance of supporting local farms and ranches.

Life Skills Block (LSB), our after school program, is full of independent play and lots of possibilities! The program gives students the freedom to pursue from art to soccer to digging in the dirt. M - F, 3 - 6 p.m.

We offer outdoor education programming in the form of rock climbing, paddling, backpacking, and survival skills. We practice hard skills and go on mini trips to local reservoirs, open space parks, and bouldering gyms so youth can practice new skills!

Education outreach programs serve nearly every elementary school in Pueblo County, reaching thousands of children each year. Camps, on-site programming and volunteer opportunities give youth a chance to dive deeper on zoo grounds. Partnerships with the library and business partners provide free and reduced admission to those who cannot afford to visit the zoo.
