At Camp Manitowa our summer camp near St. Louis in Southern Illinois strive to provide campers an environment that fosters all the skills parents want their kids to develop early on in life. Our Rend Lake camp is a non-religions program that serves campers 2nd to 9th-grade. Kids gain independence, build self-esteem, and learn about cooperation and problem-solving, all while making new, lifelong friends. We offer a small community for campers so that they feel like they are part of the Manitowa family. By offering structured free choice activities, we encourage kids to feel a sense of belonging and control over their experience, which leaves them feeling empowered and able to learn and grow. To build this vessel, students will learn coil, slab and pinch methods and one or all methods in combination. Join us for a Summer of Wonder exploring movement and the arts! Each week camp will feature a variety of on site activities including gymnastics, dance, ninja, drawing, painting, paper & fiber arts, musical theater, indoor gardening and more! Wonder Camp meets weekly M-F 8:30am-12:00pm. Not too little, not too much our morning camp is the perfect amount! New this Summer, PM add on option 12:00pm- 3:30pm for full day camp! In this live online course, we improve our print and cursive handwriting through reading and writing about people and events from American history as well as drawing them. Why drawing? Drawing develops some of the same muscle groups used for handwriting. It's also lots of fun! Recommended for ages 11-18. An ADULT SECTION is also available (meeting time is different. It will start at 9:30 AM PST and end at 10:30 AM PST). |

Embark on an epic week-long adventure in the world of Dungeons & Dragons! This immersive campaign is designed for students who have completed the D&D Bootcamp or are already familiar with the game. Throughout the week, campers will dive into a thrilling narrative where they will become brave adventurers, solving puzzles, battling mythical creatures, and using teamwork to navigate through epic quests.
