At Young Americans Center for Financial Education, we’ve helped develop the financial literacy of young people through real-life experiences since 1984. It makes a positive difference for their future, and an even greater impact for our world.
Young AmeriTowne is our flagship program, serving over 40,000 students annually. Fifth grade students typically learn the interactive curriculum in the classroom before coming on a field trip to Young Americans to apply all of their learning in an immersive simulation to run the town, featuring elections, job interviews, checkbook registers, real life toys and snacks, and more!
The Young AmeriTowne summer camp brings this signature Colorado experience directly to students! Campers learn the content throughout the week, practicing their learning each day in mini-townes before applying everything from the week to run AmeriTowne on Friday!
YA summer camps run Monday through Friday. Times are 9:30-3:30 Monday through Thursday, with an hour parent dropoff/pickup window starting at 8:30 and ending at 4:30. On Friday, camp ends at 2:30 with the parent pickup window ending at 3:30.
We still have a few spots remaining for the week of July 13-17! Anyone who registers can enter code ta26 for 25% off of camp tuition!
