Kids aged 10-14 can enjoy 6 sessions of Intro to Oil Painting at Center for the Arts Evergreen. This is an opportunity for your middle-schoolers to enjoy learning the basics of oil painting, which isn’t usually introduced into a school art curriculum until high school. Students will work from a photo of their pet or a wildlife photo that they bring from home. Students will learn oil painting process and technique as well as lessons in color theory and and composition.
Class size is limited to 10 students and class will take place outside under a tent. Each student will have his/her own table and supply kit to allow for social-distancing and sanitation requirements. A full list of Covid-19 procedures will be sent upon registration. Please check out our website for a complete list of our Covid-19 reopening policies.
