Our Mission: Inspiring actions that protect birds, other wildlife, and their habitats through education, conservation, and research. Our Vision: To transform Denver into the most bird-friendly city in the United States. Denver Audubon’s Youth & Family Programs engage children and their caregivers in immersive, nature-based learning experiences—from outdoor summer camps that foster confidence and a connection to the natural world, to interactive sessions like Nature Detectives for toddlers, homeschool classes, and hands-on bird banding activities. Each program is designed to inspire curiosity, promote environmental appreciation, and bring families face-to-face with birdlife and habitat exploration.
