The Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District (CVPRD), established in 1983, is a special district serving roughly 45 square miles including the city of Dacono, the towns of Firestone and Frederick, and surrounding rural areas to engage community, enhance life, and encourage play.
CVPRD's mission is to increase and enhance recreational opportunities by providing a variety of quality programs and activities for the Carbon Valley community.
