Aspiring scientists, engineers, and designers - it is time to level up! Every day you'll build and compete with several complex models. You'll also learn about solar, wind and hydro power and the role machines play in storing and measuring it. Experiment with real solar panels, windmill energy converters, and air pressure gauge to learn how they work. Practice using tools like levers, cams, gears and pulleys to build multiple models. Then, use your model to simulate real-life machines such as sweeping machines, windmills, and power cars to aid in your exploration. Our planet's fate is in your hands in this green-thinking robotics class. Co-sponsored with Learning Through Robotics.
This is a 2-week online camp. You must have a laptop/computer. All other supplies are available via curbside pick-up Monday, June 21 from 7:00 am - 8:00 am and drop-off on Friday, July 2 from 5:30 - 6:30 pm at the University of Utah.
