Stagebugz is a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to providing fun, safe, and positive performing arts experiences while fostering creativity, compassion, and confidence in young artists through theatre. We offer free workshops, pay-what-you-can classes, affordable camps, and public performances to meet every young performer's needs. Stagebugz is more than just a theatre company; we strive to be a place where every child feels safe, supported, and special. At Stagebugz, we believe that theatre can change lives, and we are excited to have your child join us!
The Wizard of Oz camp runs weekdays 9 AM to 1 PM, July 8th through 19th. Camp is open to students ages 5-10 of all experience levels.
The Wizard of Oz will culminate in a final performance for students' families and friends. The performance will be held at 12 PM on July 19th at Columbine United Church. At Stagebugz, it is our mission to ensure that all performers know they are a valued and special member of the company. Every student is guaranteed a role with at least one line and one solo upon registering, and our small class sizes ensure that each performer receives ample stage time. Summer camp is a great opportunity for young actors to break out of their comfort zone and have a chance to take center stage, so every child will play a featured role.
