Winter Programs at WOW!

Classes are held on December 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 2021 from 8:30-11:00 am. Space is limited to 10 children per class. Register for 1 class or all 3 classes! Advance registration is required.
As mandated by Boulder County Public Health, masks are required of all staff and participants.
Class Costs:
- $50 for non-members
- $40 for members
Class #1: Winter Animals
- Date & Time: Monday – 12/20 from 8:30 am – 11:00 am
- Ages: Grades 1st-3rd
Discover how nature adapts to the cold! Explore how different animals migrate and hibernate, and find out the best ways to keep warm at the North Pole!
Class #2: Snowflakes and Ice Crystals
- Date & Time: Tuesday, 12/21 from 8:30 am – 11:00 am
- Ages: Grades 1st-3rd
Learn about what makes winter special! Make your own snowflake, discover ways to melt ice, and create your own ice-themed art project!
Class #3: Winter Weather
- Date & Time: Wednesday, 12/22 from 8:30 am – 11:00 am
- Ages: Grades 1st-3rd
What would winter be without snowstorms? Make your own snowstorm in a jar, use chemistry to make indoor snow, and bring home a frozen tasty treat!
