Walking with Nature

Take a walk with an Arvada native and naturalist.

Walks are on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. Gather at 3:00 p.m. for a short interactive discussion about seasonal topics, start walking at 3:20 p.m.
Join Arvada native, Dean Bernard, on a walk along one of Arvada’s 150 miles of trails. Walks are at a casual pace lasting 1 to 1 1/2 hours, so we may learn about Arvada’s local plants/trees, urban wildlife and local history. Dress for the weather. Class size is limited, register early. Walk will be canceled if the temperature is below 32 degrees or if storming.
February's theme is "Nature Art Gallery". Meet at Robby Ferrufino Park, West 74th Ave. and Carr Street
