Velocity recreation is a non-profit organization dedicated to getting everyone to move their feet. Our first step is with a brand new type of running event. So join us June 18th – July 1st for an event like no other. You won’t need to attend any organized race or make time in your busy schedule. Instead you’ll have two weeks to battle yourself and others to see who can run the fastest and improve the most. Basically, you will be able to run your race as many times as you’d like to see how much improvement you can achieve.
We offer a running calculation that compares improvement scores across abilities, ages, and distances to show who fought the hardest.
The race will have three distances with over $1,000 in prizes. Awards will be offered for every reason under the sun and proceeds will go towards Velocity Recreation so that we can continue with our goal of a more active tomorrow.
Visit: www.VelocityColorado.com then click Join. Create an account, then click Activites on the left hand side. Select the Virtual Walk/Run. Click Register and follow the on screen Instructions. Don't forget to add your dependents.
