Virtual Space Camp

*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 06/25/2021
Join us for Virtual Space Camp! This camp will begin with an exploration of our solar system, followed by investigations of more specific space-related topics. Each day, we will investigate a feature of space and technology, as well as learn about historical figures who have made contributions to what we know about space. All campers will receive a Virtual Space Camp Kit. Kit pick-up info will be shared with registrants before camp begins.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email so we can update it immediately.

The award-winning Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk will host a Virtual Space Camp from Monday, June 21  through Friday, June 25. Each camp day will take place from 9:00 am – noon.

Campers will be able to enjoy a one-day, in-person camp experience AT THE MUSEUM!

Campers will learn about the rockets that carry astronauts, satellites and rovers out into space, our planetary neighbors of the solar system, asteroids that are constantly zipping through the skies and much more. The Space Camp Kit includes materials for campers to engineer spacecrafts, as well as create star and nebula art, their own pocket solar system and more!

As an added bonus, we’re also partnering with the NISE Network, a partner of NASA, for our camp content!

The fee for Virtual Space Camp is $80 per member child and $100 per non-member child.
