Unleash your inner fashion designer! Campers will create their own fashion design kits, including fabulous fabrics, a 9" mannequin to test outfits and designs, and plenty of accessories. We'll explore how to plan and design pieces, as well as create functional wearable art like scrunchies and a fanny pack. This is a super popular week of camp, and we don't want you to miss out! In our fourth summer of partnership with BMoCA, we can tell you, these camps are amazing! We spend our days in the stunning upstairs studio above the museum, and get to make art in community while being inspired by our surroundings and the contemporary artists' work on display. Each week includes a museum tour, and each day includes snack and break time outdoors on the large grassy lawns in front of the museum. Less than 6-to-1 student-teacher ratio, the most inspiring space, exposure to contemporary art while making amazing work of our own -- it doesn't get much better!
