We'll have three additional local bluegrass acts to warm things up for Jeff Austin & Friends, and we're encouraging all attendees to become participants by bringing their instruments for informal crowd jam sessions between each set. So, from 2-230pm, 330-4pm, 530-6pm, and 730-8pm, everyone is invited to jam out in whatever form they deem appropriate/inspired. Who knows, maybe you'll be ripping the banjo sittin' on a hay bale next to Jeff Austin himself!? Bring your triangle, bring your stand up bass, but definitely bring your OKTOBERGRASS spirit.
OKTOBERGRASS: It's TheBigWonderful blend of Oktoberfest (beers galore), bluegrass festival (with audience participation), harvest celebration (pumpkins and other gourds aplenty), fall flea (50+ craft vendors and a handful of the finest food trucks), and dare we say kid and dog friendly PARTY.
