The members of Taiko with Toni and Lance hope to entertain and educate while sharing their passion for taiko and what it means to them. Their hopes are that taiko will reach your heart and soul, and connect all who hear that thunderous rumble intermingled with the soothing voice of the bamboo flute. With traditional folk songs, contemporary compositions, and Japanese lullabies mixed with American traditional jazz – they bring the festival sound of Japan to you!
Taiko with Toni and Lance have taught and performed taiko at many schools and festivals throughout Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, and California; and taught workshops at three “North American Taiko Conferences”. Toni and Lance have also performed with “Taikoza” (taiko group based in New York City) on the east coast and in England, Switzerland, and Russia.
