At artSPARK Creative Studio, our summer camp empowers kids to step into the role of the artist. Rooted in Studio Thinking, we nurture creativity, critical thinking, and artistic autonomy. Campers explore a wide range of techniques and processes across 2D and 3D art forms, including drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sensory and creative play, color experiments, hand sewing, weaving, wire sculptures, found-object creations, and inventive designs.
We believe kids are capable artists who bring their unique ideas to life with the right balance of guidance and freedom. Our camp environment inspires imaginations to flourish, offering tools, inspiration, and encouragement to explore and create. Each camper works at their own pace, developing their skills and voice as an artist. Whether they are experimenting with new media or refining their personal style, every creation reflects where they are in their artistic journey.
Campers receive individualized support from our experienced instructors, who guide them after group demonstrations and collaborative activities. Through this process, children learn how artists think and work, gaining confidence in their ability to solve creative challenges and make meaningful choices in their art.
Whether you are new to our summer camps or have been here in the past, we incorporate new processes and familiar favorites that kids love.
Each camper receives a FREE Idea + Mistake Book (sketchbook), and each day concludes with a Creator’s Mission—a fun challenge designed to inspire creative thinking and at-home practice.
Fridays feature a special Artist Celebration, where campers proudly showcase their unique styles and creations.
