Spring Break Discovery Programs

Wonderful Wildflowers - March 20 1-2pm
Lions and marmots and bears, oh my! Spend an afternoon finding out fun facts about our rocky mountain mammals. Get up close with furs and skulls of our Front Range Fauna!
Rocky Mountain Mammals - March 21 1-2pm
Spring is right around the corner! Our front range is full of beautiful wildflowers. Join our educators to learn how you can identify some of our most common ones. We’ll discuss parts of a flower, habitats, and tips and tricks for learning to tell them apart!
Backyard Birding - March 22 10-11am
Ever wondered what bird you saw in your backyard? Join us for a morning dedicated to learning the basics of birding. We’ll go for a short walk in the meadow and see how many birds we can find! Bring binoculars if you have them, but Evergreen Audubon will have some available to borrow.
Terrific Tarantualas - March 23 10-11am
Have you ever wanted to see a tarantula up close? Spiders have a bad reputation, but are an important part of our natural ecosystems! Spend some time learning about these fascinating creatures, and get a chance to ask questions about their behaviors and adaptations.
