Students will be inspired by the comical ceramic portrait works of modern artist Guy Routhledge. As they design and construct their very own faces out of air-dry clay. Air dry clay is fun to manipulate and mold and we will use it to practice simplifying a face into basic shapes and lines. We will explore our creativity and students will go home with their very own clay face that will be mounted on a stand.
