SeriesFest Mobile Cinema Lab: Summer Intensive | Kids Out and About Denver

SeriesFest Mobile Cinema Lab: Summer Intensive

SeriesFest invites teens (13–18) to our one-week Mobile Cinema Lab Summer Intensive where they will collaborate with industry professionals to learn the fundamentals of filmmaking (Preproduction, Production, and Post-Production) and create original short films! The program will culminate with a public screening of students’ cinematic creations. Camp is offered twice in 2025. Students may participate in 1 or both sessions (priced separately). June 16–20 & June 23–27

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

This young filmmaker camp offers the opportunity for students to learn the technical and artistic aspects of filmmaking. Teens work in groups to write, film, and edit their short films—all supported by trained educators and industry equipment. No prior experience is required!

Students who participate in both sessions will have the opportunity to build upon their skills and create something new for the second session! Students receive hands-on experience, and small class sizes ensure students get the most out of our camp.

We aim for 1 educator per a maximum of 10 students. Final numbers depend on enrollment.
