The Denver Art Museum’s Sensory-Friendly Mornings is a program for kids with neurodiversity or sensory processing disorders and their families to visit the museum in a safe and fun way. The museum will open early, dim the lights, and provide tools to aid and guide a sensory-friendly experience for the whole family.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

This Sensory-Friendly Morning will feature the Hamilton Building's galleries, a temporary sensory-friendly space on the 3rd level, and the Storytelling Studio. We will explore the intersection of art and storytelling as we welcome an all-star cast of artists and community partners for storytelling, sharing, and self-expression.

There also will be therapeutic activities with Creative in Residence Kerrie Joy, storytime yoga, and equine therapy with McNicholas Miniatures Therapy Horses.

Please note: The Martin Building will open at 10 am at regular capacity, lighting, and audio levels.

Free admission; ticket reservation required. Online tickets available: https://tickets.denverartmuseum.org/DateSelection.aspx?item=1481
