In this four-week class students will learn about the art of relief printmaking. We will be creating seasonal and holiday prints using found objects. To make our prints we will roll paint on to plastic and then apply to paper to create surprising and intriguing pieces of art. We will also create our own relief stamps, and finally, we will use carving tools to create a linocut print. Be prepared to get messy, experiment with different methods of printmaking and allow your inner artist to shine through!
Tuesdays, November 3 through December 1
