Bird Nerds Camp
Monday, June 17 – Friday, June 21
9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Hummingbirds, ducks and owls, oh my! We have incredible birds living in our mountain habitats! Kids in this week-long, half-day camp will discover the amazing ways that local birds survive and their relationships to our native habitat. Campers will explore the woods, use binoculars, create art projects and be real scientists studying bird behavior and adaptations. How does bird life connect with plants, insects and other animals? Our Bird Nerds are about to find out this summer!
Insect Investigations Camp
Monday, July 15 – Friday, July 19
9:00 am – 12:00 pm
What are earthworms doing under the surface? How are moths and butterflies different? Can ants really lift things 20 times their body weight?? We’ll investigate these questions and more during bug week! Our Insect Investigators will spend the week searching high and low for all the bugs we can find – even aquatic ones. It’s sure to be a buggy week!
Survival Olympics Camp
