Freedom Street Social in Arvada is our newest location for Piano Playtime, starting April 1st, Tuesdays at 10:00. “Play” is learning for the young child and we take your child’s play seriously. There is no other time in a human's life when piano is so crucial for accelerated brain growth. Piano Playtime is a play-based, experiential curriculum, designed from decades of research which supports the natural developmental stages of children to attain accelerated intelligence, unprecedented neural integration and personal/social well-being.
Four to six children, each with their own mini-keyboard, meet 1x per week for a 30 minute class to discover the sounds of music at their fingertips. Whole body activities involving auditory, visual, social and language functions are blended for maximum brain inputs.
Per the comfort level of each preschooler, the Moms and caregivers can take a coffee break while their little maestro has fun at the piano. Our instructors are caring, experienced, well educated and highly trained. At around age 5, our Piano Playtimers often transition easily into private lessons. These Piano Playtime graduates are far ahead of their "untrained" peers in terms of rhythm, tonality, musical expression, creativity and the auditory base for reading music. We learn life skills, through music.
All instructors have a minimum Bachelors degrees and are highly experienced and trained in Early Childhood and Piano Playtime protocol.
