Come on down to The Conflict Center for our FREE Peace Day event. There will be food, face painting, balloon animals, and fun activities for the whole family! Please visit our website prior to the event to register for a FREE take-home Peace Box that is chock full of family activities, games, and crafts, to be picked up the day of the event. Peace Day celebrates community and the power of literature to teach children ages 4-10 skills that promote empathy, kindness, and problem solving. Our 5th annual Peace Day offers a creative opportunity to connect while learning valuable skills centered around identifying and expressing emotions and self-regulation. Last year we increased the number of boxes distributed to families and community partners from 500 to 1000 Peace Boxes. This year, we are continuing our goal of distributing 1,000 Peace Boxes to share the fun of specially designed skill building activities, games and crafts!
