Nurture your child’s interest in art with observational drawing (drawing what they see). It is a learned skill where students will learn to translate pictures and three-dimensional objects into a two-dimensional drawing on paper.

Throughout the class students will learn and apply the fundamentals of art to their drawings which will include shapes, composition, contrast, value. Also, they will learn about highlight and shading all while using graphite pencils.

Taken the class already? Come and take it again! Your young artist will always learn something new and can continue to improve their drawing skills.

Please bring required supplies to the first day of class and use supplies to continue working on your drawing skills at home and in future classes.
