Foothills Habitats
Thursday, September 8, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
A puppet show followed by a discovery hike through 3 habitats, observing, comparing and contrasting each. Geared towards Grades 1-2. Children at least 6 years old can be dropped off.
Discover Bear Creek
Tuesday, September 13, 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
A puppet show and discovery hike give children the opportunity to learn about and fine-tune their senses. Geared for Pre-K and Kindergarten. Must have accompanying adult.
Colorado Wildlife Detectives
Tuesday, October 4, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Students play detective in a “who-dunnit?” scenario and hone their detective skills on a hike through different habitats, searching for signs of life and learning about food webs. Geared towards grades 3-5. Children grades 3+ can be dropped off.
Winter Adaptations
Tuesday, November 15, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
A puppet show, hike and interactive stations will highlight the adaptations of local animals in winter. Geared towards grades 1-3. Children at least 6 years old can be dropped off.
