Mythical Wings at Spring Break Art Camp

We are going to let our imaginations run wild as we create a pair of mythical wings. These can be dragon, fairy or even butterfly wings. We are going to be using alcohol inks to create an underpainting for our wings. Students will have fun exploring how to move and manipulate the inks to create a colorful and “mythical” like painting. Students will then design their own stencil of their wings that they will use to draw and paint on top of their alcohol ink underpainting. Our finished project will be a stunning pair of wings!
Morning Session: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Afternoon Sessoin: 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Not going anywhere for Spring Break? Stop by the Curtis Center for the Arts to create fun and unique hands-on art projects. This year our theme is fantasy, and we will be creating works of art featuring our favorite fantasy creatures that will include dragons, fairies, and unicorns.
Each day will feature a different art project and kids can pick which project they want to do, or they can do all of them! Get creative with us over Spring Break!
