Mexican Style Kids Cooking Class

This hands on cooking class will have your child learning basic cooking techniques that will allow them to build the mouthwatering flavors associated with Mexican cuisine. Ages 11 and up please.

Join Chef Jamey, from celebrated Highlands hotspot Lola, in this hands-on class as he takes you on a journey celebrating the wonderful world of Mexican cuisine! He’ll be instructing on the different skills and techniques needed to create this rich colorful menu, and explaining about the different ingredients and flavor profiles that are so characteristic of Mexican cooking as you cook up this feast, ideal for a south of the border fiesta! Ages 11 and up.
Suggested Menu:
Lola Signature Guacamole and Salsa;
Tortilla Soup;
Fajitas with Handmade Flour Tortillas;
Pork with Black Beans;
Churros with Hot Chocolate Dipping Sauce.
