Monthly Maker Mornings programs at the Clyfford Still Museum are designed for children from 15 months to eight years old, with siblings of any age welcome. We spend time in the galleries with a librarian from Denver Public Libraries for storytime before entering The Making Space, the hands-on creation studio directly connected to our galleries. We explore various materials, expand our ideas of what it means to create, and express ourselves through art. During this Maker Morning, we will spend time exploring the galleries and recording the sounds that we hear. Do you hear footsteps? Visitors talking about paintings? The sound of people creating artworks? After our exploration of the galleries, we’ll create art that reminds us of the sounds that we heard!

The open-endedness of this time is intentional, allowing all children to interact with the activities in their own unique ways. We encourage you to observe what your child gravitates towards, ask questions, and get curious.

Admission: Free for CSM members, $15 adults, $13 seniors (65+), $10 teachers/military, $1 Museums for All/Explorer Pass (with valid EBT card), always free for children ages 17 and under.
