Maker Mornings: Movement and Sound
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Join the Clyfford Still Museum from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, for a free, hands-on family artmaking program. In response to our current exhibition, Still in Sound, we will explore the sounds we can hear and make in the galleries! How can we move our bodies in response to what we hear? Should we dance, jump, or stretch? How can you make art that looks like the sounds you hear? Join us as we explore our galleries and make art together!
Maker Mornings are designed for children ages 15 months to eight years old, with siblings of any age welcome. We spend time in the galleries with a librarian from Denver Public Libraries for storytime before entering The Making Space, the hands-on creation studio directly connected to our galleries. We explore various materials, expand our ideas of what it means to create, and express ourselves through art.
