Do you have a student hoping to enter the Video Cinema program at the Denver School of the Arts or other program requiring submission of an original video production, or just a kiddo interested in making movies?
This 2-day workshop offers a complete Production 101 education that your student can immediately apply to making his or her own video application. Over the course of the weekend, students move through the entire production process from envisioning a story, to creating storyboards, writing scripts, defining characters, determining backgrounds, acting, filming and editing their masterpiece. They learn special effects, editing polishes like titles and credits, lighting strategies and camerawork that give movies that professional flair. We get outside for lunch to run around and enjoy the sun in between watching film clips and learning about filmmaking. Bring a sack lunch along with a water bottle and two snacks and get ready to spend two fun and exciting days making a movie!
Dates: Saturday, November 11 & Sunday, November 12
Time: 9am - 4pm
Age Group: Limited to 4-8 graders.
Cost: $349
