LEGO Building Workshop

Build (and keep!) your own Colorado-style LEGO set, then take a special guided museum tour based on your creation!
On July 28th we'll build the Lego Creator Blue Express Train Kit together. The 71-piece kit includes a classic tank-engine train that also rebuilds into a Carriage or a Fast Train. The set will take about 30 minutes to build and is best for ages 5-12.
We'll then tour the Railroad Depot in our Destination Colorado exhibit and take a look at our LEGOrado exhibit before it opens to the public.
On August 18th we'll build the LEGO City Hot Dog Cart and Vendor Kit together. The 43-piece kit includes a hot dog cart, minifigure, and garbage can. The set will take about 30 minutes to build and is best for ages 5-12.
We'll then tour our Play Ball! exhibit and take a look at our LEGOrado exhibit before it opens to the public.
On September 4th we'll build the LEGO Classic Green Creativity Kit together. The 66-piece kit includes a mix of classic lego bricks and special elements, including windows, doors, and wheels. This is a great set for beginners, adaptable to all skill levels. The set will take about 30 minutes to build and is best for ages 4-99.
We'll then tour our Living West exhibit and take a look at our LEGOrado exhibit before it opens to the public.
