How did the industrial revolution and the western expansion lead to the creation of this utilitarian and beautiful home décor? Participants will learn the historic background and create their own knotted rag rug that can be finished at home. Bring “rags” and a pair of scissors from home to participate, contact instructor with questions about fabric.
10 am to noon at Clear Creek History Park. Appropriate for ages 10 and older with participating adult. Members $10; non-members $15.
