Kids Zone - Layers of Time: Discovering Past Civilizations

Archaeology is like being a detective who travels back in time by finding pieces of an ancient puzzle buried in the earth. Students will work together in this mock archaeological dig to uncover relics of a past civilization.

Are you and your kids interested in collecting coins or learning more about money? The Money Museum offers free monthly classes in the Kids Zone for children ages 7-14. Through fun activities children can learn basic and advanced concepts associated with numismatics, how money is designed, manufactured, used around the world, and more. Children will enjoy learning about history, geography, economics, world cultures, art – even language arts, as well as math and science, by participating in our Kids Zone activcities, held on almost every 3rd Saturday of the month!
