Tiny Tots gets children truly inside the orchestra by seating the audience on the floor and surrounding them with a 30+ piece orchestra. Designed for children six and under, this 45-minute program gives young ones the chance to interact with the conductor and the musicians and learn about the instruments in the process. Tiny Tots audiences receive an up-close-and-personal performance in a casual, fun environment. The experience is one-of-a-kind!
Highlights of the Fall Tiny Tots season: Combining old and new favorites, from classical to pop, this season will include all new repertoire. Kids will hear music that sounds like their favorite stuffed animal, dancers from Hannah Kahn Dance Studio will perform and teach children how to move to music, and an opera singer from Central City Opera will perform a modern movie favorite. Kids will get the chance to get hands on with instruments at an instrument petting zoo sponsored by Neighborhood Music Stapleton.
Performances are from 9:30-10:15 and 10:45-11:30.
