Practicing 19th century homesteading at Clear Creek History Park is fun! Explore historic cabins, cook on a woodstove, learn why blacksmithing is an art, take a lesson at the schoolhouse, and play forgotten games.  Clear Creek History Park is home to many of the original buildings from the old Pearce Ranch in Golden Gate Canyon. The park is only a short walk from downtown Golden which features shopping, restaurants, and more. Admission is always free, but on this special free day most buildings will be open for viewing.  Read more about the park and its buildings: http://www.goldenhistory.org/museums/cchp/complete-clear-creek-history-p...
