Stagebugz is a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to providing fun, safe, and positive performing arts experiences while fostering creativity, compassion, and confidence in young artists through theatre. We offer free workshops, pay-what-you-can classes, affordable camps, and public performances to meet every young performer's needs. Stagebugz is more than just a theatre company; we strive to be a place where every child feels safe, supported, and special. At Stagebugz, we believe that theatre can change lives, and we are excited to have your child join us!
When eleven-year-old Harry is summoned to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he meets several friends who help him discover the truth about his identity and his parents' mysterious death. This camp is open to students ages 8-14 and runs July 22-26 from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Harry Potter will culminate in a final performance where students can show off what they learned to family and friends. The performance will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 26th at the Dance Art Media Studios. At Stagebugz, it is our mission to ensure that all performers know they are a valued and special member of the company. Every student is guaranteed a role with speaking lines, and our small class sizes ensure that each performer receives ample stage time. Summer camp is a great opportunity for young actors to break out of their comfort zone and have a chance to take center stage, so every child will play a featured role.
