Join us at the Museum to celebrate and safely observe the Great American Eclipse! All Solar Eclipse Day activities are free with general admission.

The eclipse in Denver will begin at 10:23 a.m. and finish at 1:14 p.m.

The Museum will have a limited quanity of free solar eclipse glasses available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Events at the Museum

Safe Solar-Scope Viewing
9 a.m.–2 p.m. on Boettcher Plaza

Kinesthetic Actvities
9 a.m.–2 p.m. in Studios 102 and 103

Space Odyssey
Programs in Space Odyssey will be eclipse-themed throughout the day. We will have NASA's livestream of the eclipse on the screens in Space Odyssey for those who wish to watch safely from indoors.

Eclipse Crafts and Story Times
9 a.m.–2 p.m. in Discovery Zone
Look for signs in the Discovery Zone for specific information

The T-Rex Café will have pop-up in the Science Atrium to serve people who are participating in the eclipse viewing and activities both on Boettcher Plaza and the MFEC.
