Geeks Who Bake: A Very Wizard-y Cooking Class

Dream of sitting in the great hall as you watch an absolutely enormous amount of food appear out of thin air? Does your mouth water at the thought of butterbeer, pumpkin pasties, and treacle tarts?
While our food won’t instantly materialize, it will taste just as magical. Join me on a culinary journey where we’ll brew, conjure, and transfigure our way through a wizarding-world feast.
Our lesson schedule will be:
Potions Class: we’ll kick off the evening with a batch of sweet and creamy butterbeer.
Herbology: then we’ll make our way to the greenhouse where we’ll assemble a hearty, winter salad with beets, goat cheese, pecans, and balsamic vinegar.
Transfiguration: Finally, we’ll settle in for a double lesson of pastry starting with dessert. We’ll transfigure breadcrumbs and golden syrup into Mr. Potter’s favorite treacle tarts. While those bake, we’ll turn ordinary pumpkin pasties into extraordinary curried pumpkin and apple pasties with crispy andouille sausage.
After all that hard work, we’ll sit down at our house tables and indulge in our incredible feast.
