Drawing and Sculpting for Teens
*The event has already taken place on this date: Tue, 05/23/2023

Students will create a drawing of their choice and then take their drawing and design and construct it into a ceramic sculpture. All drawing and painting mediums will be used as well as paper and clay for sculpting. If you have something you like to draw, bring it to class and we will perfect it so that you can sculpt it. This is the perfect class for all two and three-dimensional artists to explore and experiment.
Although not required students are encouraged to have their own sketchbook that they can use outside of class for sketches they want to use for their sculptures. Students will be drawing in class, but they may want to use drawings or sketches that they have done outside of class.
Artwork will be left at the Curtis Center for the Arts to dry and be fired. Participants will be emailed information regarding when they can pick up their fired pieces at the Curtis Center for the Arts.
All supplies provided!
