Communicating, Relationship-building, Exploring sensation, Working together The STAR CREW Program builds social cognition and awareness, communication, problem-solving skills, and interactive play skills for children ages 3-5 years.

-Expands non-verbal and verbal social language skills
-Increases ability to initiate social interaction with peers
-Improves social awareness and social problem solving
-Increases ability to self-regulate during play-based social interaction

Social skills lessons are taught within the context of games and play while meeting a child’s individual sensory needs. The program is geared for verbal children that have basic peer awareness and would benefit from therapeutic activities to build reciprocal interactions. These positive experiences are foundational building blocks for a child’s social development. Group runs two times a week for six weeks. Developmental Pathways funding is available for this group.
